High Holiday Services

Dear Friends,

We are pleased to present the 2022 (5783) High Holiday schedule of services and seat request form.

Rabbi Neal Loevinger will again be leading services, along with Cantor Len Zimmerman.

Regrettably, please note there will not be a ‘break the fast’ following YK due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Our Synagogue has had to overcome many hurdles in the recent past, including a pandemic, and unprecedented suspension of services due to loss of sanitary utility. Yet we are hopeful to celebrate and observe Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur Services with our families and friends in person, and in the warm traditions of our Congregation. In order to make that possible in a relatively safe manner, and consistent with best health practices and recommendations by the CDC and other authoritative medical resources, please note the following:

• Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur Services will be held at the SYNAGOGUE, as in the past 99 years!
• WINDOWS WILL REMAIN WIDE OPEN, AND VENTILATION FANS WILL BE RUNNING (as a COVID-19 precaution): DRESS ACCORDINGLY!
• MASKS ARE OPTIONAL

• Seating at the synagogue may be tight, determined by the number of attendees. We will not know if we can space out family seating until the final number of reservations has been received.
While talleisim and yarmulkahs will be available on site, you are encouraged to bring your own.
• The schedule of services appears on the calendar of events at right.
Request Forms must include the number of seats in each category (member, family member, non-member) requested.
While we are making extra effort to provide a safe environment, each individual must determine what is in the best interests of their own situation in deciding to attend services.
• If ANYONE in your household does not feel well, OR if you have been in the presence of someone who has tested positive for Covid-19 within the previous 10 days, PLEASE do not attend services.

A High Holiday ticket order form can be found by clicking here. Priority will be given to paid up members.

Completed forms, with check, must be received by SEPTEMBER 19, 2022.

Because the US Mail (USPS) can be unreliable, we are asking that in addition to mailing in your completed form, you ALSO e-mail Mary-Ellen (MESEITEL@aol.com) with your name, and the number of seats you are requesting for each of RH and YK (so that we can formulate a seating plan for each holiday).

We look forward to observing Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur with all of you. The entire board extends its warmest wishes to you and your family for a very happy and healthy New Year.

L’Shana Tovah,
Larry Seitelman, President
